I totally get that the Center of Excellence is running the U5/U6 league. It seems that it is basically just a once a week indoor clinic. So with that said...the tees/socks are a nice touch. The one thing I have an issue with is that my older daughter is now U8 and my U6 daughter has been waiting to get her Semi Soccer uniform for a few years now...waiting patiently at the side lines watching her big sister. So she totally felt let down with the light blue tee provided. She said it isn't a uniform and doesn't want to wear it. I have to force her her to wear it. I think that what threw her (and many of us) was the color not aligning to Semiahmoo Soccer Club colors and to the blue color of The Center of Excellence. Couldn't the Center of Excellence at least use burgundy tees to line up with the Semiahmoo Soccer Club? I kind of feel bad that that the girls don't get any real field time and with the uniforms essentially gone...it seems like it is basically the Center of Excellence clinic and not Semiahmoo soccer at all.

I have no issue with the Center of Excellence. My older duaghter is registered in it and loves it. My issue is just with the color choice for the U5/U6 tees.

To clear a few things up, the U5/6 Introduction to Soccer is a Semiahmoo SC club run program but it is staffed by the ABSA (the service providers to SSC). All registration fees and non-technical decisions are controlled by the club on this one.

Chris Van Nes, the director of mini's, would be the one to talk to about your suggestion with the T-shirt colours. I think that Semi colours for these T-shirts would be fantastic.
