Invitation to Play Day
For all players who have submitted completed registrations for Spring League 2010

Times: U5/6 Players born 2005/2004 *09:00am - 10:30am
U7 Players born 2003 *10:30am - 12:00pm
U8 Players born 2002 * 12:00pm - 1:30pm
U9 Players born 2001 *1:30pm - 3:00pm
U10/11 Players born 2000/1999 *3:00pm - 4:30pm
* All players must arrive 30 minutes PRIOR to scheduled field time so that they may pick up their pinnies for the session.
Equipment: All players must wear cleats and shin guards.
Attendance: Players are encouraged to participate in this event so that coaches can access abilities and personalities in order to prepare more balanced teams for the season, and also gives players a chance to meet other players in their age group. All players, including players not in attendance for Play Day sessions, will have the opportunity to be placed on a team, according to the order that their completed registrations were received by the Semiahmoo Soccer Club.
All Coaches are to participate in evaluating players from the age group they are volunteering to coach for the Spring Season.
Team Placement: Teams will be formed the week after Play Day and players will be contacted by their coaches once the teams have been formed. Some age groups may be full and some players may be placed on wait lists**.
**Receipt of a player's registration information, fees and other documents does not necessarily guarantee a player's team placement. Many factors must be considered in organizing this team sport, including team maximums and number of teams in each age group, recruitment of volunteer coaches and their availability as well as field availability. Players will be placed on first come, first served based on receipt of completed registrations.
Games will begin Sunday, April 18th.
