Anca Duncan
Langara beat Thompson Rivers University by a score of 2-1 (in extra time) in the final of the CCAA today.  Anca Duncan (SSC Storm - 90) was named player of the match for TRU.

Kwantlen
Also, Kwantlen recently finished with a Bronze medal at the BCCAA finals.  The following Semi Alumni and current women's players are included on their roster:

Tomorrow (November 9, 2008 Sunday) TWU will play in the gold medal match for the CIS national title...Karina Whitmarsh (SSC Storm - 90) and Katie Wigston (SSC Storm - 90) are a part of their roster.

Two Weeks of Medals
9 semiahmoo alumni (5 from George's team last year) and 3 current SSC Women's players have all won college and university soccer medal in the past two weeks...that is fairly noteworthy

The second, full-size artificial turf field in south surrey athletic park will provide the sporting community with the equivalent of seven natural grass fields. This new field will help to fill the high demand for soccer fields in Surrey and will enhance the ability to host large tournaments at this location.
