It is with regret that we announce the rescheduled
tournament is cancelled. The last few weeks has seen many teams drop off due to
continuing with their Cup games to be played this weekend and the requirement
for make-up games.
We certainly appreciate your patience and understanding on
this matter and look forward to holding this annual tournament in 2008.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me .
Thank you again and we apologize for these circumstances.
Thank you,
Richard Coulter.

South District will be holding the AGM Tuesday May 27, 2008. The meeting will be begin at 7pm at the North Delta Recreation Centre in the Delta Room on the 2nd floor. Address is 11415 84th Ave North Delta.
Team Head Coaches are encouraged to attend as under the Constitution of the South District Girls Soccer Association, only Head Coaches (or their appointed Assistants) are entitled to vote for the SDGSA Chair position.
This meeting is also a good forum to speak to what you like or don’t like about how South District administers their leagues. There are also policy changes being proposed and quite probably implemented for the coming season regarding eligibility of SD rep teams competing within 5 District. In the past, Clubs simply declared Gold / Silver A / Silver B teams to the 5 District League. South District now wants to retain the majority of member club teams within a South District only league schedule, with only the highest rated teams (based on prior season’s record) being allowed to move up to 5 District play (re: U13 – 18G/SA). This does not affect Metro teams, which compete in the Girls Metro Soccer League.
