SSC Volunteer Activities that qualify for the Volunteer Fee Credit
What is the Volunteer Fee?
The minimum criterion is that volunteer effort involves more than two hours of activity, either in single act or collectively over time. When effort involves only one team, greater effort is required to qualify for the Credit!

- Head Coach
- Named Assistant Coach
- Named Team Manager
- Named Female Practice Attendee
Club Related
- Executive position - see listing elsewhere on web site
- District executive position
- Age Group Co-coordinator
- Women's Co-coordinators
- Assistants to the above
- Member of executive recognized committee
- Financial oversight committee
- Spring soccer organization committee
Special Activities
- Picture day (Oct/Nov)
- Mini Jamborees
- Concession (South Surrey Athletic Park Fieldhouse)
- Registration day (live registration, if held)
- Special Events Co-ordination - Coaches' Appreciation Night; AGM and Awards Night, re: planning and set up
- Player evaluation for rep. teams - administrative, fields, registration, concession
- Equipment sorting/distribution/returns
Activities that don't qualify
- Cutting up oranges
- Running the line
- Helping out at practices
Activities must occur in the April 1 - March 31 year in which the Volunteer fee is paid. For example, volunteering done after the completion of the regular season (after March 31) can be applied to the next regular season. (Spring soccer and tryout volunteering).
