After
the Club's March 31 year end, each coach and member of the Executive will be
asked to e-mail a Volunteer Credit Code
(v-code) to all their volunteers for the previous year, according to the list
of eligible activities (also on website). This v-code can then be entered
on the Fall Registration form for next year to receive credit for
the SSC Family Volunteer Fee. ($60 this past year).
When players reach 16 years of age, they can provide the
help and the family will receive the Credit . This Club encourages
participation of older players in giving back to the Club and in being role
models for the younger players. Volunteering is recognized as a valuable
activity for students, both for school credit and for scholarship purposes. We
have had current and former players coach and assistant coach in the Spring
League with great success.
Teams are also welcome to help as a group. Be creative!
