To All Players, Parents and Coaches of Girls Registered for Semiahmoo Spring Soccer League 2008
There will be a Play Day for all players who have completed registrations (online registration form submitted and fees paid) for Spring League 2008 on Sunday, March 30th, 2008.

U5/6 Players born 2002/2003 *09:00am - 10:30am
U7 Players born 2001 *10:30am - 12:00pm
U8 Players born 2000 * 12:00pm - 1:30pm
U9 Players born 1999 *1:30pm – 3:00pm
U10/11 Players born 1997/1998 *3:00pm – 4:30pm
* All players must arrive 30 minutes PRIOR to scheduled field time to allow time for check-in.
Volunteers: We need 8 volunteers to help run the event. This is you last chance to get your volunteer shift in this year! Return to Home page, look along top to Volunteers Section and scroll down to Jamboree to find a time and shift that suits. Then scroll back up the page to request the shift.
Several registered players in various age groups are
currently on the Spring League 2008 Wait Lists. These players are still
welcome to participate in the Play Day and may be placed on teams as some
players may be moved to different age groups or may be withdrawn after March
30th. Confirmation of status will be made for all registrants during the
first week of April. Fees will be returned to those players who cannot be
placed for this season.
Equipment: All players must wear cleats and shin guards.
Attendance: Players are encouraged to participate in this event so that coaches can assess abilities and personalities in order to prepare more balanced teams for the season. This event also gives players a chance to meet other players within their age group.
Players who are not able to attend but have completed registration (online registration and fees paid) will still be placed on a team and contacted by their coach the following week.
All Coaches to participate in evaluating players from the age group(s) that they are volunteering to coach for the Spring Season.
Teams will be formed the week after the Play Day and players will be contacted by their coaches once the teams have been confirmed.
Games will begin Sunday, April 13th.
