HIRING OF A TECHNICAL DIRECTOR FOR THE
CLUB’S WOMEN’S PROGRAM
Semiahmoo Soccer Club is pleased to announce the immediate
hiring of Jack Reddy as Technical Director for the Club’s Women’s
Program.
Jack’s primary role for this coming season is to begin
to implement our vision for a successful women’s program. This begins
with communication and implementing progressive and corrective approaches as we
move through this season and into the coming Summer / PCSL season. Jack will
also be available to assist current teams albeit on a rotational basis .
The objectives for the Club’s Women’s Program
for the next 5 years are that we want our Women’s Program to be:
Competitive, with its teams
consistently placing in the top third of their divisions
Well-organized
Supervised by professional coaches
Run in an atmosphere where women can
have a good time
Supportive of youth development
Our professional staff's
goals will be to make sure that each of our women’s program participants
experience their ultimate soccer experience.
To meet our goals we must be able to:
facilitate competently coached
divisional teams which allow women to play at a level which suits their skill
level, ranging from beginner (Div 4) to Premier.
provide an environment that our graduating
youth will want to be a part of.
create an atmosphere such that women
of all levels will want to be a part of the Club’s Women’s Program.
Very soon, you will doubtless see Jack on the sidelines of
our women’s team training and/or matches. He is there to assist where
needed, observe and work with the Executive and team coaching staffs to have
our Women’s Program consistently reflect the above.
None of the above will happen overnight. However, with
player, coach and community cooperation and participation, we can achieve the
objectives we have set out.
