Players and Parents
 The Semiamoo Soccer Club invites girls born in the years
1998-2004 (U5 - U11) to register in the 2009 Spring League. The spring program
is an excellent opportunity for players to enhance and improve the skills
learned from the fall program. It is also a great opportunity for new players
to learn skills and build their confidence prior to registering for the 2009
fall season.
This is a recreational fun league, not a rep league.
Registration
January 15, 2009
- Registration begins; fee is $75.00 per player. Registration will be on-line. Details to come.
There will be a draw for one free registration picked from
registrations received by 22 February!
After February 22, 2009
- Registration Fee increases to
$90.00 per player.
An additional cost of $15.00 must be added to the
registration fee for those players who were not registered in a B.C. soccer club
in the 2008 regular season.
Please note that there will be a $25.00 cancellation fee for those
players who withdraw after 08 March and there will be no refund for players who
withdraw after 29 March.
- Only individuals can register, no team registrations will be
accepted.
- The registration fee includes 10 fun-filled soccer games, quality
T-shirt, shorts and socks.
Schedule
29 March 2009 - Play-day for all players. Teams will be
formed the following week.
19 April - First game of the season. There will be a total
of 10 games, all played on Sundays.
24 May - No game, long weekend.
28 June - Last game of the season.
Volunteers
In previous years the
success of spring league has depended primarily on volunteers. The 2009 season will
be no different. Volunteers will be needed for coaches, managers, and other
positions in order to make this season as successful as those in the past. For
those who would like to coach and would like to attend a coaching clinic please
contact me ASAP so that a clinic can be organized. A CCY (Community Coach
Youth) clinic is a weekend course, cost $135, and a CCC (Community Coach
Children) clinic is an 8 hour course, cost $75. The fee is fully reimbursed by
the Club at the end of the season to anyone who coaches spring league.
I look forward to seeing you on the field, and to a fun and
successful season. Remember to register by February 22, 2009 to avoid the late
fee, and that players are accepted subject to availability. Teams do fill up
fast!!
