Semiahmoo Soccer is organized in "Divisions" consistent with BCSA directives to provide the following levels of play:

Metro  | Competitive | U14 - U19

Gold | Competitive | U12 - U18

Silver A | Competitive | U12 - U18

Selects  | Competitive | U11

House League | Non-Competitive| Recreational | U11 - U18

Metro  | Competitive | U14 - U19
METRO teams are where you will find the top players compete with similar teams in our district, throughout BC and nationally. A significant time and financial commitment is required. Participation is determined by tryouts and a selection process. Additional Fees are applied above League Registration Fees.

Gold | Competitive | U12-U18
GOLD teams also offer a high level of competition. Players are selected after METRO teams are formed. Travel to games in our district and surrounding area. A significant time and financial commitment is required. Participation is determined by tryouts and a selection process.

Silver A | Competitive | U12-U18
Silver A teams (Formally known as SELECTS) provide competitive play with similar teams in our District and compete in tournaments at various locations in BC. Players are selected after GOLD teams are formed. Travel to games in our district and surrounding area. A significant time commitment is required. Participation is determined by tryouts and a selection process.

Selects  | Competitive | U11 |
SELECTS teams in the U11 age group only. This is a player’s first introduction to competitive level soccer. Travel to games in our district only. Participation is determined by tryouts and a selection process.

House League | Non-Competitive| Recreational |U11-U18
HOUSE teams, where more than 70% of our children are involved (approximately 60 teams), are the largest segment of players in Semiahmoo Soccer . This level has been developed to be sensitive to youthful aspirations, family time and financial commitments while providing a "Positive Coaching" experience for all participants. Any child who wants to play soccer, regardless of ability, can play in HOUSE, depending on the level of family commitment. THERE ARE NO TRYOUTS FOR EITHER LEVEL OF ACTIVITY.

HOUSE is purely recreational for the player who just wants to play and have fun without making a major time commitment.

Through these programs children are allowed to participate at a level where they can succeed and develop, both as individuals and as soccer players in a team environment.

Those that seek to achieve higher levels of competition may try out for the IPL Development Program and the Provincial and National Team Program.

We are proud of the fact that our provincial team rosters sometimes have up to one-third of the team members from our METRO teams.

Semiahmoo Soccer offers summer camps, skills clinics, a Spring Soccer program and other opportunities for team and individual training. The camps and clinics are staffed by top-level professional trainers selected by Ajit Braich for their ability to provide high-level instruction directed at particular age groups.
